Copying data from desktop to laptop

Yes, I did read the information on the website and in the User Manual, but I didn't find what I was looking for.

Question: what is the easiest way to copy the 1Password data from desktop to laptop, without using iCloud and the like, and without using wifi? I have an airport network, and I simply want to transfer periodically the data from my desktop, which always contains the most recent version, to my laptop, using an application like Chronosync. Copying the entire home folder, which contains all 1Password data, from A to B doesn't work (and why not?). Is it sufficient to copy the 1Password folder in home folder > Application support from A to B, or is there a better way? Mac OS X.10.5, 1Password 6.3.1.
