How to recover my information

Hi @ayumi,
I'm so sorry to hear that you've been having trouble with 1Password! Now, your 1Password data should be stored separately from the app itself, so if you simply deleted the app from the Applications folder, your data should still be stored in the default location.
Did you use an app cleaner such as CleanMyMac or AppZapper when deleting and reinstalling?
When you reply, it would also be helpful to know your version information and if you were using Dropbox or iCloud to sync your 1Password data, just to make sure that we're all on the same page.

Hi Megan thanks for your comment. No I didn't use an app cleaner. I used 1Password on my iPhone only which was initially downloaded more nearly 5 years ago. Since then my iPhone's auto version upgrade system had run ****to keep the version the latest (I hope). But not sure exactly what version of 1Password I used. The newly retrieved version is ver 3.7.2 (Nov 2012). Since my version was old, I don't remember my 1Password had the sync function. In general I used iCloud to back up but lazy me... Since my iCloud size exceeded, I didn't back up the data for months. But it would still be great if I could get back my data from the last backed up data.

@ayumi: Ah, I see. Since you seem to be talking about the iOS version of 1Password, I've moved this discussion to that category of the forums to avoid further confusion.
When you delete an iOS app, you're deleting all of its data too. (Un)fortunately AgileBits has neither your 1Password data nor the Master Password used to secure it, so this isn't something we can 'recover' for you to help directly. You will need to either restore from a backup, sync from another device, or simply start over. Given that you haven't backed up even your device for some time, it sounds like the only possible way to recover any of your data would be to restore a device using your (outdated) iCloud backup. Even that may not work, but if you don't have your data anywhere else it's the only alternative to starting over. :(

@ayumi: Oh, don't call yourself names...and the same applies equally to me, which is how I've been in a similar situation. :(
When everything is going smoothly, it's easy to forget that something terrible could happen at any time, and that while hopefully it won't, we still need to have backups just in case. I can't tell you how sorry I am that you've had to go through this. I learned the hard way myself, and the one good thing about it is that I haven't forgotten to keep backing up since then.
Be sure to check out our backup guide:
1Password backup and restore (iOS)
And let me know if you have any questions at all, or if there's anything I can do to help.
