I need help figuring out why 1password for my Mac stays open despite the settings

Central Problem:

My 1password stays open all the time unless I manually lock or close the app.

This is the version that I have:

1Password 6
Version 6.3.1 (631006)
AgileBits Store

    Do you happen to have any software running that keeps your machine from going idle? Such as Caffeine?

    @rudy Nope. I'm not running anything like that. I am baffled.

    Attach the Diagnostics Report(s) to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.

    @Megan I just emailed the diagnostic report. I hope that the email contains the information that you need.

    @Pilar I followed the steps but my vault doesn't close automatically. For some reason, it stays open.
