iPad prompts for master password frequently.
I know that this topic has been discussed in the past. have read the discussion and applied all the settings suggested. My iPads do not have fingerprint readers. Despite all of the settings I still get the mp prompt at least once a day and sometimes, multiple times. It's very annoying. Perhaps there is some setting I have overlooked but perhaps it's something else. Whatever the root cause, I hope it can be returned to it's prior behavior of only prompting for the mp after a reboot and prompting for the pin otherwise.

Hi @DoctorDan,
Thanks for taking the time to write in. I'm sorry for the trouble.
Could you please tell me if, when prompted for the Master Password, you see a fingerprint icon on the screen as well?

If you do, please tap on that and you should be able to enter your PIN. If you do not, somehow the PIN is being cleared from the iOS keychain. In that case, I'd like to ask you to create some Diagnostics Reports, one from each of your devices:
Attach the Diagnostics Report(s) to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report(s) in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report(s) in our inbox.
You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report(s) and ensure that this issue is dealt with quickly. :)
Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks very much!

I'm pretty sure that there is a fingerprint icon showing. I never understood its function. I'll try it.
On my fingerprint-enabled iPad I already get the prompt to touch that overlies the MP prompt. What does the icon do on devices that have a fingerprint reader? If it doesn't really do anything, perhaps the lable should be 'Enter PIN' rather than a fingerprint if the device lack the touchID senser.

It is the "quick unlock" icon. It probably seems more natural on Touch ID enabled devices, but since all new Apple mobile devices are Touch ID enabled it didn't make sense to put an icon relating to PINs there.
What does the icon do on devices that have a fingerprint reader?
It brings up the Touch ID prompt. :)

Tapping the fingerprint icon prompts for the pin. Thanks, never would have guessed but then, I flunked Mind Reading 101) in college :)

Thanks for the update @DoctorDan. :)
Sorry about the fact this isn't more clear -- I think the interface in this case probably makes more sense for Touch ID enabled devices, which all new devices are.
