After reinstall I am asked for old password still.

I lost the master password for the vault. I unistalled it then I reinstalled the program on my iphone 5 and created new password. It would let me start adding data. But when I tried to sync to icloud it still lrequired the old master password

    It sounds to me like your old 1Password data is still stored in iCloud, and 1Password is trying to merge the old database with your new one. Obviously, without the Master Password for the ‘old’ database, you will be unable to do this.

    You can remove the 1Password data from iCloud by going to 1Password’s Settings -> Advanced -> Erase iCloud Data. This will allow you to set up iCloud sync fresh with your new database.
