Feature request: make a standard HTML metadata tag that gives 1Password hint for password generation

Options

It seems like every website has different requirements for the length and complexity of their passwords. What if 1Password created a simple HTML metadata tag that website owners could provide on their sign-in screen, which would give 1Password a hint so that its password generator would automatically follow the format required by the website?

It really sucks going through the "password complexity guessing dance", manually trying to dial all of 1Password's controls to match whatever stupid limitations the website designers imposed :( It's especially difficult when 1Password produces some special characters that the website doesn't allow, and I have to keep tinkering manually.

Thanks for your suggestion, @granthulbert. We have a few ideas for making it easier for website developers to convey their support for 1Password in the future. We hope to give this some attention in the near-ish future, but there are some other things we need to work on first, but this is definitely something we're interested in.
