Firefox does not load 1password extension

On trying to load the extension on Firefox ver 47 and 48 (MacOS X 10.11.6) I get the following message:
"The add-on could not be downloaded because of a connection failure"
Had no problem installing in Safari, Chrome

1Password Version: 6.3.1
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: OSX 10.11.6
Sync Type: Not Provided

    Solved. I downloaded the firefox extension with Safari and then opened it with Firefox
