Used 1password only on my iPhone. It recently completely died, how to recover passwords?
I have used 1password on my iPhone for the last year and have used it to save many important passwords. However, my phone recently died and I do not know how to recover my passwords. I have now downloaded 1password for Mac however in order to log in I need to provide sign-in address and an account key which I don't know (and don't know if I ever knew). I think I know which email address I used but not certain. The only thing I remember is my Master Password as I used it every time I logged into the app.

Hi @namtn9,
I’m sorry to hear about your phone! That’s certainly not a fun thing to deal with.
One of the features of 1Password is that your data never leaves your device unless you specifically set up a sync service. This is generally a great thing, but in your case it means we might have trouble accessing that data if it only ever lived on your phone. Did you ever use Dropbox or iCloud sync to store your 1Password data? Did you use iCloud to back up your entire phone perhaps?

No I had used dropbox or iCloud to sync as I had not realized it was even available to sync over to my Mac. I have backed up my entire phone but not recently. The other thing is that I am not planning on buying a new iPhone as I now own an android.

As Megan mentioned unless you set it up otherwise your data is only stored on your device. So if you lose access to that device you'll also lose access to the data on it.
If you can get the phone working enough to get sync set up that would be the best solution, otherwise you may need to start over.
