Old computer came back on line, connected to new vault and brought in the old data. How do I delete the old data that I don't want?

    Hi @dfish,

The best thing to do here is to restore to a previous backup. First of all, let’s turn off sync on the old computer, just to make sure that the same thing doesn’t happen again.

If the old computer is using 1Password 3, you’ll find the sync settings in Preferences > General. If you’re using 1Password 4+ on the computer, look in Preferences > Sync and make sure that sync is set to ‘None’.

Our next step is to restore your new computer to a backup:

    1. Open 1Password
    2. Select File > Restore and select a recent backup. If you noticed a bunch of new items when the old computer connected, you can take a look at the item numbers to select a backup from prior to the ‘event’.

And that should do it! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. :)
