Trouble sharing family license from 2012

I am using 1Password6 on my Mac with a family license from 2012, but my daughter can't get it working on her new Mac. Her 1Password on her iPhone6 holds her passwords, but quits when she tries to sync it. Do we start all over with a new account for her and try to migrate it? Very frustrating.

• What version of 1Password is your daughter using on her Mac?
• What version of 1Password is your daughter using on her iPhone?
• How is she trying to sync? iCloud? Dropbox?

We'll get it sorted out. :)
