1P 4 not syncing with 6

Hello,
i am a 1P6 user on a 2011 MBP and i use dropbox to sync.
i installed 1P4 on an older mac machine b/c that was the latest compatible version.
however, i noticed that v4 and v6 dont seem to be syncing.
i looked in "preferences -- sync" on both machines and noticed that they both are using the same agilekeychain file in the same dropbox location.
am i missing something?
any ideas on what could be wrong?

    Hi oldvill,

    Are both macs able to open and unlock, but changes on one are not reflected on the other?

    Try turning sync off and reconfigure it on both machines. Also, make sure Dropbox itself is running correctly -- e.g. that other files you place in your Dropbox appear on both Macs.
