Secure Note Item Count Not Increasing in Latest IOS Version

Hi, great products folks.

After upgrading my Mac, iPad and iPhone to the latest versions of 1Password today, I've come across a small issue.

If I add a Secure Note on any device, it instantly syncs across to the other two, just as you would expect (using iCloud).

The overall item count and the secure note item count increase by 1, but on the Mac only. The IOS version item counts do not increase. Even when I add the item in an IOS device, the item count still does not increase.

I'm sure you will sort this soon.

    My latest observation is that the count updates correctly many hours later.

    A few additional notes:

    • This issue applies to item counts for all categories, not only Secure Notes.
    • It also happens with vaults that are not syncing.
    • If you have multiple vaults, switching between them is a workaround to force item counts in the Categories list to refresh.

    When I open 1Password on my iPhone with 1Password on my Mac already unlocked, the sync started automatically on my iPhone, showing the little spinning dots in the status bar.
    There was a new object on my Mac but the number of objects on the already open category page didn't refresh. So I looked wich object I added last and it was synced to the iPhone. After I switched my vaults the number of object get refreshed.
    It was very irritating when the number of object didn't refresh, so this should be fixed.

    Thank you for reporting this issue, which I've moved to a similar discussion - hope you don't mind. :)

    After I switched my vaults the number of object get refreshed.

    Indeed, that's the same workaround I mentioned in my reply to @theengine. He found another way of triggering what's essentially the same bug from a user's perspective. Item counts should be automatically refreshing after any actions that change them, without relying on workaround to do it.

    It was very irritating when the number of object didn't refresh, so this should be fixed.

    This one's also frustrating for me since I'm often checking if item counts match on different devices … maybe too often? ;)

    Like Megan said earlier, our developers are looking into this; hopefully it won't take long to resolve.
