When opening on iPhone, message tells to open program on my mac first...? Is this normal ??

    Hi @nevadaharv,

    Are you syncing your iPhone using Wi-Fi? If so, 1Password on your Mac must be unlocked in order for the sync to happen, which could be why you’re prompted so.

    Thanks for the reply.
    If I am away from my Mac and try to open 1password on my phone , then I can't do this open 1password? The Mac can be unlocked when using it but locks when not in use per settings. Am i doing something wrong?

  • Yep -- that is the expected behavior when using Wi-Fi / WLAN syncing. The Mac must be unlocked when you launch 1Password on iOS or you'll get that message.
