1password doesn't work

One password no longer works on several websites that I have. Due to the fact that the websites of change the way they allow you to enter in the password. Example USAA throws up a webpage where you need to answer questions before it allow you to get to the webpage where you enter the password. Also my bank does that now. How is one password addressing this issue? Hopefully this is monitored by one password

    Hi @javacooler,

Websites do have an annoying habit of updating their sign in pages. When this happens, the best way to get your 1Password item to fill correctly is to manually save a new version of the item so that 1Password can re-learn the fields that it needs to fill.

I just created a new Login item for USAA using mobile Safari that fills nicely. Here’s what I did:

    1. Open a new tab in Safari to usaa.com (I was automatically redirected to mobile.usaa.com)
    2. Tapped the ‘Log On’ button at the top of the screen.
    3. On the log in page, I typed in an Online ID and password, but did not tap the ‘Log On’ button.
    4. Tapped ‘Done’ on the keyboard to hide it.
    5. Tapped the ‘Share’ sheet icon (rectangle with an arrow coming out of the top)
    6. Selected 1Password, unlocked.
    7. Selected ‘New Login’ - 1Password showed me a new item with the details that I typed in already saved in the appropriate fields.
    8. I tapped ‘Save’.

Then, just to see how things worked, I deleted the fields in the USAA log in screen and used the 1Password app extension (in the Share sheet) to fill for me. It worked perfectly.

This same process can work whenever a website changes. If you have 1Password on a desktop computer, we have a support article that can walk you through the process of Saving a New Login Manually.

    I hope this helps!
