The thumbprint used to work for about 2 weeks befor I had to type my LONG COMPLICATED SECURE password.
Now I have to do it almost every time, and it makes me want to delete this great application.

Your settings may be wrong. Look in the 1PW > Security settings, but also look in 1PW > Advanced >Security.
I would guess that you just need to adjust these, but if you still have difficulty report what your settings are.

@danjdanjdanj57: Also note that in 1Password Settings > Security, it will tell you in plain English (or perhaps other languages, based on your localization settings) when to expect 1Password to lock. If you look at that first and it sounds different from what you want, it will at least give you a sense for what you need to adjust. I hope this helps! :)
