How to setup one-time passwords/2FA w/o scanning a QR code

Facebook is broken right now. When you try to set up 2FA, the QR code image doesn't load, but they do provide the secret key that can be typed in directly. As far as I can tell 1PW only supports scanning a QR code to set up the one-time password feature. But is there a way to set up by manually entering a key? Feature request if not.

Additional feature request: Field to store recovery codes here as well.

Also, why confusingly call it "one-time password" instead of 2 factor auth?

@mckillrd: Great question! First, it's called "one-time password" because that's what it is. 1Password uses the TOTP (Time-based One-Time Password) standard, and the product of this is a "one-time password". It's confusing, but it's an important distinction since not all two-factor/multi-factor/whatever authentication schemes use one-time passwords like this.

While 1Password doesn't have a preset field(s) for this, you can use custom fields to store them...but personally I just use the Notes section, since that gives ample space.

Yep! Now, by "manually", I really hope you mean "copy and paste", since I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy to have to type those...but if you Add Field and select One-Time Password, you just need to paste the URL/key you're given into where it says **Secret ** and then save. So long as it's TOTP compliant (and your system time is correct), 1Password will be able to use it to generate the one-time password. I hope this helps! :)
