Transitioning free iPhone account data to a Mac
Hi,
I have a free 1Password account on my iPhone, and I would like to copy or sync my data so that I can use it on my Macbook. I tried signing up for a Mac Personal account using my Apple ID (which is my email address), but it said I do not have an account associated with that email. I'm wondering if I should create a new account and then copy over all my current data, or if I missed something. I'm pretty sure my free version is linked to my email, but I'm not sure why it's not registering as an account when I try to sign-in online.

With a free download of the app you do not have an account. :)
So yes signing up for an account and then copying the data from your free vault into that account would be the way to go:
