Different Vault formats of different devices
My wife runs 1Password on: a Mac on 10.11, a Mac on 10.9 and on Android
The Mac 10.9 and the Android device seem to be using the older agile keychain. The 10.11 Mac seems to be using the newer opvault. As expected synching is not working as expected. Further, the 10.9 Mac is reporting the latest 1Password as incompatible. Any help would be appreciated. Also, have you dropped support for OS X 10.9?

Hi @Barryl,
Thanks for reaching out to us for help! Sorry to hear you're having some trouble syncing 1Password between your two Macs and your Android device.

Indeed, it sounds like the problem is that the 10.11 Mac is pointing to a different sync file (in Dropbox, I'm assuming) than the 10.9 Mac and Android device. You can follow these steps to have the 10.11 Mac point to that same sync file:
- On the 10.11 Mac, open 1Password and go to 1Password > Preferences in the menu.
- Click the Sync tab, then change the sync from Dropbox to None.
- Click the box to Delete data from Dropbox, then click Disable Sync (the .opvault file will be removed from Dropbox).
- Change the sync from None back to Dropbox.
- Click the Choose button, then select the .agilekeychain sync file from Dropbox (and click Open).
- Click Merge with Existing to start syncing (enter the master password if prompted).
Further, the 10.9 Mac is reporting the latest 1Password as incompatible.
That's correct - the latest version for Mac is currently 1Password 6, and that requires Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) or 10.11 (El Capitan). Those were the same requirements for 1Password 5 for Mac as well. 1Password 4 is the latest version that will run on Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks).
Please let us know how it goes and if you have any questions about that. Cheers! :)
