If 1Password gets corrupted on my computer, how can I access my passwords? Would down loading 1Password again be an option?

  • Hi @jsoliz,

If you've created a 1Password Account on our website then your encrypted data will be backed up on our servers, so if the local app on your computer got corrupted somehow your data would still be available there. If you don't have an Account, 1Password for Mac will create local backups in a folder on your computer. You can also sync to iCloud or Dropbox which helps by keeping a copy of your data there as well. You can read a bit more about the various back up options on our support site here:

    Hope that helps!
