Feature request: multilingual password generator
the password generator offers 2 options:
- characters
- words
I use both, depending on wether I need to remember the password by heart. The words-based generator creates passwords like this: "maharaja-deduct-talk" which are easier to remember.
Since I'm a native Dutch speaker words based generated passwords using dutch words would be easier to remember, e.g. : "sinaasappel-inrichten-kwestie". It would also increase the strength of the passwords since more combinations come available.

Thank you for taking some time to write to us about this. I can relate about Diceware passwords being easier to remember on your native language :chuffed: I would like to point you towards a forum post where we discussed and explored this idea a couple of months ago. You can find it here: https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/66100/advanced-setup-when-generating-passwords-with-words
I would like to hear what you think about this and about the different points that we've talked about before regarding Diceware passwords in different languages :chuffed:

Hi,
I requested the feature back in January. Noting happend. https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/56060/diceware-in-other-languages-and-one-time-passwords.
In https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/66100/advanced-setup-when-generating-passwords-with-words you say you don't know other languages and that is the problem. Anyway if you would use diceware list from http://world.std.com/~reinhold/diceware.html#Diceware in Other Languages|outline .
And I personally don't care about your 17000 Wordlist because with 7776 Words you have 12.9 bits entropy for each word. And before not deliver that multilanguage support, you should do an advanced option to allow this other wordlist.
In meatime your users can use https://github.com/mgumz/diceware/releases

Thank you for letting us know what you'd like to see in 1Password and what is important for you :chuffed: I'm sorry but I can't tell you when or if this feature will available in 1Password, though as you've seen in my previous answers I sure hope it does! I'd be the first one to use it ;)
