Hey guys, it would be great to get a simple iOS Widget. What shall it do? - Somehow like for Apple Watch Extension. I can define a list of favorites which are shown in the iOS Widget. When I click them I need to provide Fingerprint/masterpassword then the item is either shown in the widget or it switches direct to 1password and opens directly that selected item.

@telephoneman: That's a cool idea! I'm not sure that widgets can invoke Touch ID (I've never seen this done), but switching to the app would work. And it might be better to have that as an opt-in feature like Spotlight search, so that people could avoid having any of their 1Password data viewable outside of the app by default. Thanks for the suggestion! :)

Hi @brenty yes of course like you select single Items for Apple watch, you can also select single items for the widget. Especially with new iOS 10 there can widgets look more smart. Maybe for data privacy an additional idea (maybe its not a good idea). The user can define a Widget Label for the item which is shown in Widget. For Example instead of: "Bank Of Monaco" it's called in widget "Sierra". (but this also optional).

The Apple Watch comparison is interesting. Perhaps we can do something with widgets in the future. Thanks for bringing this up! :)
