Log in password problems...
A while back I ran into a buzz saw with my password suddenly not working. Same thing happened again last night. Today I think I accidentally discovered the problem. Rapidly typing the password, I would get a "bad password" message. This morning the same thing. Going very slowly, I was able to log in. I think I may have been hitting the right Shift key instead of the Return key. Not sure if that would be enough to generate a bad password or not. On my MacBook Air, the right shift key is bigger than the return key.

Hi @Starflyer ,
Thanks for writing in. Pressing the right shift key would definitely affect the password. It would make a lowercase letter into uppercase, and a number would become the symbol above it, certainly resulting a different password.
Glad to hear you got it figured out!
Cheers,
