hi there--just got new iphone 6S. tried to sync with my macbook. everything seems kosher, and it says "starting to sync," but the sync doesn't seem to finish.
any thoughts about what might be wrong here?

@jbenditt: Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for the trouble! Unfortunately without some basic information it's hard to say what might be going wrong and how we might right it! Please tell me the OS, 1Password, and device versions you're using, the exact steps you're taking, and what is (or is not) happening the way you expect so we can figure out the best plan of action.
The more information you can give, the better. For instance, since we're talking about a sync issue, knowing the sync method you're trying to use will be crucial. Thanks in advance! :)

hey brenty--thanks for the response. here's some additional information. i'm trying to sync using wi-fi. the laptop is running OSX 10.11.6 el capitan. the iphone 6S is running iOS 10.0.2. 1Password on the phone is version 6.4.5. on the laptop it is version 6.3.3. as for the steps i'm taking, i'm doing what i've always done: opened 1Password on the phone, open it on the laptop, set it to WLAN sync using the "secret word" and then hit "sync now." it always seemed to work before. but not on the new phone. let me know if that helps. and if you need anything else. and what you'd recommend. any thoughts much appreciated. john.

@jbenditt: Ah, that's good to know. Thank you! I'm confused that you're expecting to enter the "secret" thought, since this only needs to be done the first time. Do you mean you've just installed 1Password for iOS on the new iPhone?
Can you tell me more about what you've done so far? I wonder if you restored from a device backup and it was incomplete for some reason. This is unfortunately all too common with the iTunes and iCloud backup and restore process, and it's a big part of the reason we include a backup/restore feature in 1Password itself.
Do you have all of your data in 1Password for Mac already? If so, the best thing to do will be to reinstall a fresh copy of 1Password for iOS, regenerate the "secret" in 1Password for Mac (right-click it), and then setup WLAN Server to sync between the two again. Let me know what you think!

brenty--thanks! this worked beautifully. yes, i had been using a backup version from itunes stored on the laptop to install in the new iphone. when i downloaded a new version of 1password for iOS and then synced, it worked fine. many thanks for your help. jb.
