Sorry if this question has been asked or answered already, I used the search function before asking. Is it possible to have an automatic enter key press after username and password are auto filled using 1Password?

@viper4523: Great questions! And you're right to ask since this is a popular feature in our desktop apps. It's something we've experimented with on iOS, but it simply isn't reliable enough there. On desktop browsers, we have a great deal of access thanks to the native extension support. On iOS, however, we cannot integrate as directly, and Javascript interaction is limited. Ultimately it meant that trying to submit the login form automatically actually caused trouble with some sites. Hopefully we'll be able to find a solution in the future though. Thanks for bringing this up! :)

@brenty thank you please leave it as it is. I moved away from Dashlane only because they click the enter key for you automatically, which causes more problems than the convenience we get for the occasional cases it works

    thanks

I couldn't agree more! Autosubmit is great when it works as expected, but when it didn't it really overshadows any benefits it gives. I do hope that we'll be able to add it in the future though — but only if it meets the high standards we all expect from 1Password. Cheers! :)

@Bernfrin: Then I'd love for them to share their code with us! After all, we've offered the iOS extension code for years now. ;)

But in all seriousness, many people never ran into an issue with Autosubmit, because these were site-specific scripting conflicts. So it may be that theirs has the same issues, but you'd have to be unlucky enough to frequent popular sites that Autosubmit breaks. But it was a big enough problem for people that it needed to go.
