What versions do I need for Mac and iphone?

I currently have 1Password 3.8.22 on my Macbook Air and 1Password version ?? on my iPhone (where do I find what version I have on my iPhone?). On my Macbook Air I am running iOS Yosemite 10.10.5.

I want to upgrade my Mac OS to Sierra. Which version of 1Pasword will work with Sierra AND which version of 1Password would I need on my iPhone so I can sync back and forth between my computer and iPhone?

Also, on my Mac, when I go to 1Password > Check for updates, it says I'm running the latest version, but I know that's not true at 3.8.22!

Thank you in advance for the help!

@Lisp: Sorry for the confusion! 3.8.22 is the latest release of 1Password for Mac version 3. Since nobody likes a "bait and switch" the app won't try to push paid upgrades on folks. ;)

But the good news in your case is that you'll need 1Password 6 on both iOS (version 9/10) and macOS (Yosemite/El Capitan/Sierra)...and you appear to have a 1Password 6 Mac license already (I've resent this via email), and on iOS it's a free download from the App Store, with an in-app purchase if you want Pro Features.

As far as migrating from the old version, 1Password 6 can read your existing vault. Just tell the app where it is during setup and you're good to go. Let me know how it turns out! :)
