Wi-Fi / Sync issues between IOS & Sierra
Hi, i am using 1password on a mac (Sierra, V. 10.12) and in combination with an iPhone 6 Plus (newest version of IOS). I'm using 1password since years without any trouble. Both versions are the latest ones. Today I tryed to sync my iPhone as usual, but the Phone says, "make sure, this iPhone and your computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network". I rebooted both, Phone and Mac, rebooted the router, but the issue remains the same. ... Do you have any idea how I can get 1password-Access on my iPhone? Kind regards, S.

Hi @suelicious
Thanks for taking the time to write in. Sorry to hear about the trouble using the WLAN server to sync. Could you please let me know which version of 1Password you have on each device?

Thanks!

Hi Ben,
thanks for getting back to me. Mac = 1Password Version 6.3.3 (633000) / Mac App Store and iPhone = Version 6.4.5.
Best, S.

@suelicious: Thanks for confirming! Syncing via WLAN Server can be difficult at times because it depends heavily on your network configuration. If anything is preventing your devices from communicating, they will not be able to sync your data. Please follow the steps in this guide, as it will help narrow down the cause:

@brenty: Good morning, thanks for your reply. I found the issue - it was the router. I replaced it with another one and everything is fine now. Thanks again for helping :) Best, S.

Ah! Thanks for the update. I hate when it's something expensive like that, but I'm glad to hear that a new router helped. Hopefully it will give you many trouble-free years to come. Cheers! :)
