Copied password is not deleted

I copied a password from the split view on iPad pro. Normally the chosen pass should be deleted after 45s because the option is checked. But the password is still in clipboard even after iPad was in standby.

One more detail. Works properly with Safari. Happens only with facebook app.

  • Hi @Diminol,

Thanks for taking the time to write in about this behavior. I'm trying to reproduce this on my iPad, but thus far have been unable to.

Could you please try restarting the iPad for me and see if this issue persists?

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

    Thanks!

    Hi Ben,

iPad restarted. Then I loged in via facebook app and loged out after a while. After that I closed both apps. Facebook and 1Password.
The password still remained in clipboard.

    Greetings
    Dirk

  • Dirk,

Are you closing 1Password via the task switcher before the 45 second timer? If so, that would do it.

    Hi Ben,

Did as you said. Same problem.

  • Dirk,

I think you may have misread my last post. I was asking a question, not giving instruction. If you quit 1Password from the task switcher it will not be able to clear the clipboard, so I was asking if you were doing that.

    Oh sorry. Misunderstood that. ;)
No didn't work. Waited for about a Minute but the password was still live.
Also switched the button "clear clipboard" off and on again. No effect.

  • Thanks Dirk. Unfortunately I still have not been able to reproduce this issue.

To get a better idea of what might be going on under the hood here I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your iOS device:

    Sending Diagnostics Reports (iOS)

Attach the Diagnostics Report(s) to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report(s) in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report(s) in our inbox.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report(s) and ensure that this issue is dealt with quickly. :)

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks very much!
