1Password won't autofill -- Mac, Safari, latest versions

New computer. Brand new, fresh today downloads of 1Password, mini, and browser extensions.

Go to web site. Click on 1Password icon in browser bar. Opens with the right suggested login items. Click. Nothing.

This used to autofill. What's up?

    Hi @SallyShears,

That's an interesting one. If the 1Password mini menu shows you the correct Login item(s) when you click the 1Password Safari Extension icon that tells us the extension is correctly communicating with 1Password mini - they have to be for it to show you matching items.

So the first question that springs to mind is, do you see this for all sites that you have Login items for or is it happening with just particular ones?

Problem disappeared mysteriously. But it was there, autofill didn't fill. Happened on every site, every time. Then problem disappeared.

My only hypothesis: This was a brand new machine, fresh installs of Browser, 1Password, and everything else. My hypothesis is that problem disappeared after quit/restart browser or after restart of whole machine. I didn't notice which.

In any case, 1Password is now happily doing autofill again. And, 1Password is GREAT! Happy user here.

    Thanks AgileBits team.

Excellent! Thanks for the update, and the kind words! I'm glad to hear that all is well now. I know that specifically the browsers sometimes require a restart if something gets hung up — especially when there's an update. It sounds like you should be all set, but don't hesitate to reach out if we can be of further assistance. We're always here to help! :)
