How can I get 1Password to fill in TripAdvisor form fields?
I'm trying to claim a business on their website, but the identity and credit card fields are not populating. I've tried multiple times on an iPad.

Hi @mrtechnique,
Thanks for taking the time to write in. Would you be able to please provide the version of 1Password that you are using on your iPad, and also a link to the page that you are trying to fill?
How to keep 1Password up to date
Thanks!
Ben

Ben,
I'm using 6.4.5 on my iPad. Here is the URL:
https://www.tripadvisor.com/Owners
I am able to log in using 1Password on my MacBook, but I can't auto-login with my iPad.

Hi @mrtechnique,
I don't know if I'm looking at the page you were originally referring to but I claimed to be the owner of a random business and a login form popped up. I suspect this is what happens before reaching the screen you're referring to. What I can say is their login form uses an IFrame, a way for a page to display another webpage inside of itself seamlessly. On Mac and Windows the extension attaches itself to every IFrame so that it can interact with it. The reason we need to do this is because they're essentially independent pages so the extension attached to the main page at https://www.tripadvisor.com/blah-blah-blah.html can't see the the page at https://www.tripadvisor.com/RegistrationController. On the Mac and Windows you wouldn't know any of this is happening.
We have an issue on iOS though where we can't attach the extension to IFrames, only the main page. I don't understand the details behind this bug but I know we have reports filed with Apple in the hope they can help us. So my current understanding is it isn't simply a bug on just our side that we need to fix but we need help from iOS. If the page relating to the Credit Card and Identity items is similar at all that could explain why you would see the same issue there. We can check but as I'm not a user of this site at all any guidance on how to reach the correct page would be appreciated.

Thanks for responding. I can live with being able to autologin from my MacBook.

I'm glad that will work for you at least. iOS doesn't allow interaction with frames for good security reasons (after all, there's no way to tell what webpage is being displayed there), but perhaps there will be a solution to this problem in the future. Thanks for understanding.
