Authenticating browser plugin keeps generating missmatched codes

sorry if this has been asked already, I did try to look but couldn't see it. After reinstalling windows, firefox and 1password I am having trouble connecting the browser extension. I follow the link to install the extension, give it permission and install. It then loads the 1password helper and gives me a code to compare to one supplied by the 1password program. The code in the browser is always '123456' and different to the one provided by 1password itself.
I have removed the extension, deleted the browser's cookies and logins and tried again but I get the same result.

Ok, false alarm sorry. It seems that I thought firefox had finished updating but it found another one a bit later on. The extension looks to be all working now :)
