Browser authorization code does not match. Now what?

Chrome and Safari are working fine but my primary browser (FireFox 42) keeps showing me an authorization code of 123456 which does not match. Your warning says not to use 1 password if they don't match.

How do I resolve this issue?

That is a very old version of Firefox, mine is 49.0 and updating as I write. I would suggest you update Firefox and then perhaps reinstall the extension.

Thanks. Are you saying that it's not compatible with FireFox 42?

I'm not an AgileBits staff member, so I am not sure. But I suspect not. Is there a reason you are sticking with Firefox 42, or has it (or you) just not got the update yet.

Yes, there was a specific project that I was working on that was preventing me from upgrading my FireFox.

Upgrading to FireFox 49 resolved the problem. Thanks.

    Hi @GeorgeRudd

I'm sorry that we couldn't get to you earlier, it sounds like Danco's advice did the trick for you :chuffed: I hope that everything goes well with 1Password for you from now on, but if you bump into any trouble we're here for you :chuffed:
