I opened the 1Password application on my MacBook Pro and got a security code from Google chrome
There was a pop up in a Google chrome window with the same security code. I am concerned that my passwords have been compromised. I am also getting the message in the extension Browser could not be verified. I do not see extension listed in my Mac Extensions folder
1Password Version: 6.3.5
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: Sierra 10.12
Sync Type: Dropbox
Referrer: forum-search:security + google chrome

Hi @loukie,
I apologise if we didn't do a great job communicating this new feature. It is legitimate and we even now have a support page with images to give you an idea of what to expect.
If you see "1Password requires authorization" in your browser
It should happen once per browser unless you delete and re-install the extension. So after pairing it shouldn't bother you again and the extension should return to normal behaviour. Sorry for any concern we caused.
