Self signed / local web sites blocked in 1browser , unfixed long time bug
I asked about this before, was told it was an open bug that would be addressed . I can't find my old question but found several other closed questions inquiring into the same issue. I suspect it's been a problem for a year .
It a continuous hassle for me that I wish you would fix.
I have a Cisco security device , a fax machine , pbx (phone system), garage door opener , sprinkler system , Dvr , many cameras , etc that are on my local home network.
Each one of these devices are https but with a self signed certificate. I have a IP address reservation for each one setup within the Cisco router / vpn / firewall.
In 1Password I have the ip Address saved for the web site.
I access remotly via vpn often.
This all worked fine until something changed in 1 browser . It gives you an failed to load page - bad certificate with no option to continue. Your only option. Is to say ok. The work around is to use any other browser - either with the extension or copy /paste passwords.
It's a ongoing pain / waste of time .
Would you pretty please with sugar on top fix it - provide an option to continue with SSL certificate mismatch !
A related problem is the search in the 1Password when called by browser extentions restricts the search to the web site without the option to expand the search - thus foring copy / paste / switching apps work around . Would love to be able to search all in 1Password as an option (perhaps a find more button )
Thanks !!

Extension Version: Up to date

Thanks for taking the time to write in.
Indeed, this has been a fairly long standing request. This actually appears to be a problem in Apple's WKWebview API, which is what we use for 1Browser. We've opened an issue with them to request a resolution.
In the mean time we'd recommend using Safari with the 1Password extension.

This is intentional behavior, but I'll certainly pass the request along to our team for their consideration.
Thanks. :)

Hi Ben, thanks
For context - the limited search - it creates issues with tv auth - using Xbox , Apple TV, etc - you go to a channel site like HBO , natgo, ESPN - after answering a question it redirects to provider URL that's not a match to the provider billing web address - so 1Password does not allow you auth unless you manually add the URL , try again or copy paste .
As the number of channels with apps / subscription providers increase - the auth problem becomes larger .I read where Apple is working on a single sign on but I have not see it yet - I have an older Apple TV.

Thanks for the context, @douglasfenton. I believe the single sign on option is only for newer Apple TVs (4th gen) but I could be mistaken.
