Lost all passwords with upgrade

The old app kept shutting down so I installed the new version. I don't have an account key and all my passwords have been lost. Horrible!

    I did not sync to my computer because I never knew I needed to. You should have provided a more obvious disclaimer that updating app would delete everything. Very irresponsible.

    @Baby2016: Unfortunately like any 3rd party app, 1Password doesn't have any control over the update or installation process. This is all done through the App Store and handled by iOS, both of which are controlled by Apple. AgileBits also never has access to your data. If we did, that could be exploited to gain access to your secure information. And that's probably why you started using 1Password in the first place: to secure your data. However, the flipside of your controlling your data means that we cannot recover it for you either. You will need to either restore from a backup, sync from another device, or simply start over. Did you use Dropbox or iCloud previously? Please let me know. I look forward to hearing back from you!
