Move to iPhone 7 from 5c

Hello! Just want to be sure I don't shoot myself in the foot here. I bought an iPhone 7 and the folks in the Verizon store weren't sure what would happen when we restored my backup from the 5c to the 7 but all my passwords came over OK. Now: if I delete the app from the old iPhone or wipe the data, I want to be sure there will be no ill effect to the passwords on the new phone. Will I be OK doing this? Thanks!

    @skalex: Yes, you should be okay, provided that all of your data is on the new phone. I say "should" because accidents happen, and your phone could get lost, stolen, or break at any time. So please be sure to backup your important data:
