1Password keeps asking me confirm the application

Ever since I installed the latest version I've been having issues where 1Password keeps asking me to confirm it's connected to the application by matching the numbers. Why do I have to keep redoing this? It's maddening! I'm seeing it happen on multiple machines.

@PEBMAC: If you reinstall the extension or reset the browser, it will be necessary to reauthenticate. If you're still having trouble, can you tell me which OS, 1Password, browser, and extension version you're using?

I am having the same issue.

    macOS 10.12.2 Beta (16C41b)
    Google Chrome 54.0.2840.98 (64-bit)
    1password extension 4.6.2.90

@jeromefaria: Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that! It looks like you're using at out of date version of Chrome, and that can certainly cause issues for extensions on its own. Please do the following:

    1. Remove the 1Password extension
    2. Update Chrome fully
    3. Update 1Password (since you didn't mention which version you're using)
    4. Restart your Mac
    5. Install a fresh copy of the 1Password extension and authorize it

I can't guarantee that will work in your case, as we don't support prerelease OS versions and I don't have one handy to test to confirm or deny its viability, but that's helped others in similar situations running stable macOS. Let me know how it turns out!
