Improvements coming for Chrome on iOS with 1Password?
I'm a big fan of 1Password, and tell everyone I know about using it, but on iOS using Chrome I'd say I have maybe a 50% success rate using it. So much so that every time I go to try, I expect it to fail. I use Chrome on iOS because I use Chrome everywhere else - 1Password might work perfectly with Safari, but that doens't help me.
The specific behaviour I see on iOS with Chrome is I'll trigger 1Password on a site, but instead of filling in the info, it will spawn a new window, and do nothing. Is any effort being made to improve upon this?
There's no easy way I can see to report problems directly from the device/app, though I'm not sure if this is a site-specific thing, or more of a general problem with 1Password and Chrome on iOS.

Hi @jasondunn,
Thanks for taking the time to write in.
Do you have better success in Safari on iOS? Safari uses our code for filling, whereas Chrome uses code written by Google. We've made our code available to them but they have opted to use their own instead. If an item fills properly in Safari but not in Chrome that is an issue to take up with the Chrome team.
Thanks!
Ben

Hi Ben. I never use Safari, as all of my bookmarks are in Chrome across all my devices, so I can't answer that question. The only time Safari ever loads is when iOS forces me to use it. :p That's really unfortunate that Google isn't using your code. Is there a good way to let the Chrome team know about these problems with 1Password? Is there an email address or Twitter account I could communicate with?

I'm not aware of an email address or Twitter account, but they do have a system for reporting issues available here:
Thanks!
