Enable TouchID on new MBP?

I updated to the most recent release 6.5.1 and I have a new TouchBar MBP, but I don't see the options for using Touch ID within Preferences >Security?

Any ideas?

  • @jonathanjacob,

Have you turned on Touch ID in System Preferences yet?

My understanding of how that feature works is that you have to configure Touch ID at the system level before 1Password will display its settings under the security tab.

Thanks @rudy it was in fact turned on, but this seemed to be an OS Glitch. For anyone else that may have this issue a quick PRAM reset (Cmd+Option+P+R) on machine startup resolved the issue.

I was experiencing some strange quirks in the Touch ID system pref pane.

    Thanks!

  • @jonathanjacob,

Great to hear that the Touch ID settings are showing up in 1Password. Let us know if you run into any other problems!
