1password extension for Safari and update doesn't work

I keep getting a box popping up asking me to update the extension for safari. I click on update and download a file 1Password-4.6.2.safariextz and when i run it I get another box that says an error occurred while installing the extension. the Update box keeps popping up even if I keep clicking on the not now button.

    Hi @ckarsch ,

    Something you can try is installing from the Safari Extension Gallery.

    1. Remove the existing Extension (in Preferences: Extensions in Safari)
    2. Choose Safari Extensions… from the Safari menu.
    3. You should see the 1Password extension there. Click it and click Install and it should install.

    If you have any problems with that, please let us know.

    I went to Safari Extensions and there was no option for uninstall as the extension is already installed.

    Hi @ckarsch

    I'm sorry to hear that you're still having some trouble with this. To remove the extension please go to Safari, Preferences and then within Safari Preferences find "Extensions". Look for 1Password and the uninstall button. I hope that the next annotated screenshot helps you get this sorted out :chuffed:
