iPad Mini will not scan QR
I am using Families and it is fine on iPhones, iPads and my Macs. But when I try to add to iPad Mini the scan window is black??? I have rebooted, verified camera working. Is there an issue with iPad Minis?

@howardn: I'm using an iPad mini myself, so I don't think so. What model is it? Are you certain you don't have the case or something else covering the rear camera? If that sounds insulting, just know that I'm asking this question from experience — my own embarrassing experience.
Another possibility is that the app itself is damaged. Please backup your data (of you have any there) and reinstall a fresh copy from the App Store to see if that helps. Let me know how it turns out!

Camera not blocked. I tried taking a picture and it works fine. It is an iPad Mini 4 so reasonably new. I keyed in the 500 digit

Emoji killed rest of comment.???
So it worked fine after keying in. My regular iPad Air worked fine.

@howardn: Interesting. Yeah, I think there's a bug with the forum software with some unicode characters. Sorry. :(
I'm also using an iPad mini 4. I'm glad to hear you were able to enter it manually, but that's a bit of a hassle. Did you try reinstalling? (Maybe that's the part that was cut off...)

I did not reinstall because I got it working manually. My goal was to make sure you guys were aware of a problem that might not have been tested. If it works for most then you are probably correct that a reinstall would clear the issue up. I will reinstall to be sure.

Another small piece of data. I have another app called shopwell and now it cannot access the camera. Just wondering if there is an IOS 10 issue with some app functions. I had rebooted the iPad. In the meantime, I am up and running. Thanks.

Thanks for the update. Likewise I have only noticed these issues since the release of iOS 10, so that is possible.
