imac not syncing to ios properly

I have my primary vault and the personal vault I use set up within the primary vault. I have not touched the configuration of these in months. For some reason I have 8 items (duplicates) in the primary vault and 42 items in my personal. When I sync with IOS I am only getting the 8 items from the primary and It's leaving all of the other items out. Until now all items were synced to my iphone and I wasn't limited to just 8. I did just download OS sierra last week and wondered if this had something to do with it? Please Advise.

    Hi @bsnyder1,

    Thanks for taking the time to write in about this difficulty. I apologize for the trouble.

    It sounds like your Mac is not signed into your 1Password.com account. Can you please check that? Unlock 1Password for Mac and then check 1Password > Preferences > Accounts to see if your account is listed.

    Hi Ben, thanks for the response. I looked and it appears that my account is listed and that I am logged in (I have the option to sign out). On my Mac I have two vaults under "all vaults", one is "primary" and the other is "personal" and has my picture attached to it. I have all of my information in the "personal" vault and somewhere along the line (recently) new passwords started getting defaulted to the "primary" vault. My phone is reflecting the primary vault and showing nothing from the personal. Any ideas? Thanks.

    Thanks, @bsnyder. It sounds like we need to get all of your data moved into your Personal vault. The Primary vault is not part of your 1Password.com account and that is why you are not seeing changes to it reflected across devices.

    Check and see if there are any items that exist in the Primary vault but not the Personal vault on the Mac. If there are please switch to viewing just the Primary vault on your Mac (using the vault switcher icon at the top left of 1Password), select all of the items you want in the Personal vault, right click on one, and select Share -> Personal -> Move. Then from 1Password > Preferences > Advanced please Uncheck the option to "allow creation of vaults outside of 1Password accounts." This will remove the Primary vault from the Mac.

    Then on iOS make sure you are logged into your 1Password account (in 1Password open Settings > 1Password Accounts). Check and see if there are any items in the Primary vault that do not already exist in the Personal vault. If there are, move them to the Personal vault. Once all of the items in the Primary vault have been moved (or already exist in Personal) please uninstall/reinstall 1Password for iOS and re-add your 1Password.com account. Again this will remove the Primary vault from iOS.
