Set up on iPhone/iPad first and now registered/downloaded the Mac app.

I set this up on my iPhone/iPad first and have it sync'd to my iCloud account. I know that works because changes on my iPhone show up in my iPad and vice versa. Just found out about this desktop app for my Mac so I registered, downloaded, and installed it. However, I can't find any files in my iCloud account (I know they are pointed to the same iCloud account because I have other applications that I share through the iCloud) that I can open to use for syncing my new Mac desktop app to.

@RGFlade: Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for the confusion! 1Password does not sync any files to iCloud. Like other apps, it uses Apple's CloudKit framework, which is a sort of database access. So you will not see any of it in iCloud Drive, for example. However, you can use iCloud to sync data with 1Password for Mac. Just go to Preferences > Sync and select iCloud for your Primary vault there, and you'll be good to go. :)

Thanks! All set now! Absolutely excited I purchased this iPhone/Watch app. . . downloaded the Mac app and will be purchasing that also.

Likewise, thanks for your support! You may want to consider a 1Password subscription, since it will give you access to all of the apps, the web interface, and does away with license management and sync configuration altogether — you simply login to your account to authorize a device and access your data:

Be sure to let me know if you have any other questions! :)
