Hi - I am using the android app which i synch with dropbox, but I never bought the full version.
I only use the android app and use it to store my passwords which I manually enter when logging into various sites
I am getting a message when I try to add a login that my trial has expired and I need to buy the pro version. I have been using for over a year and never got this message. what do I do to be able to add logins?

  • Hi @gekko. Thanks for getting in touch with us. :)

1Password for Android is free to install and use and has full functionality during its 30 day trial. After the trial period it becomes limited to a reader. This means that you can sync, view, and fill your data, but you won't be able to add or edit items from Android without the Pro features. You can read more about it here:
    https://support.1password.com/pro-features-android/

We've also just introduced a new service, 1Password accounts. With an account subscription, the Pro features and client apps are unlocked for all of your devices, and all major upgrades are covered too. You can sign up for a free trial if you like:
    https://1password.com/sign-up/

That said, I'm not sure how you have been using it for over a year without the trial expiring, as the trial is 30 days, but to add and edit, you'll need to either subscribe to an account or unlock the Pro features.

Let me know if you have more questions!
