I cannot copy and paste my password from 1password into the Vanguard iOS app. What am I doing wrong? (Sorry if this is a duplicated question.)

    Hi @Ruby,

    Thanks for taking the time to write in. If you copy something from the Notes app are you able to paste it into the password field in the Vanguard app? Note that I would not recommend typing your actual Vanguard password into the Notes app.

    Yes, I can copy and paste from Notes.

    It appears Vanguard is explicitly checking which app the clipboard contents are coming from and disallowing paste from certain apps, including 1Password.

    I also read some of the reviews for the App Store on the Vanguard app and it appears not being able to paste into the password field is a common complaint. It seems their app is pretty poorly reviewed overall.

    This appears to be an issue with Vanguard, not 1Password.
