How Select Multiple Items?

How exactly do you select multiple items to add to the watch in v6.5? I have found no drag down menus or touch sensitive menus to do this.

  • Hi @jbjb,

Great question. At this point it isn't possible to add multiple items at once to Apple Watch.

To select multiple items for copying or moving to another vault open a category (or "All Items") and then pull down on the screen. This will give you a "Select Items..." link which you can tap to enable multi-select. From there you can copy or move the selected items.

The process for adding items to Apple Watch can be found here:

Use 1Password on your Apple Watch

I hope that helps. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.

    Hi Ben,

Just reinstalled and still have no pull down menu to select multiple items. 1Password 6.5.1 iOS 10.2.

  • @jbjb,

Launch 1Password and unlock it. Tap Categories (filing cabinet icon). Tap All Items. Rest your finger on the screen and pull down (toward the home button). A link titled "Select Items" will appear just below "Search."

    Hi Ben,

I'm able to pull down a section of the screen below Search, but it is blank.

  • @jbjb,

Could you please send us a screenshot after following the steps I've posted above?

    Hi Ben,
I have 1Password app on my iPad Mini 4, iPad Air 2, and iPhone 6S and I have the same issue as @jbjb.
I do not have the .com service account. Just the stand alone app that I sync with Dropbox. I have tried and read everything on how to do this. It's just not there. Thanks

@kevindh: As Ben suggested, it's impossible to say what might be going wrong in your case without a clearer picture — literally — of what your referring to. Please take a screenshot of what you're seeing. To include it in your reply, simply click the document button in the top of the comment field, and select the file you wish to share:

    Thanks in advance!

"Select Items" does not exist when I "pull down" from the under the Search icon.

  • Interesting. Can you confirm which version of 1Password for iOS you are using? Should be 6.5.1, as of writing. The information is shown in Settings (gear icon) just above Advanced.

@kevindh: Indeed, it looks like you're using a much older version. Be sure to check the App Store for updates, as the Select Items option was added to the app just last week, and restart your device. Let me know what you find!

Brenty, as noted in this screen shot, the app, version 6 looks to be current.

@kevindh: Hmm. I'm going to ask a really silly question right now, so please excuse me...but I want to make sure we're on the same page. Do you have multiple vaults in 1Password for iOS that you'd be able to copy or move to in the first place?

    No sir. Just one vault.

Brenty, I just noticed a statement Ben made in the beginning of this post.
"_To select multiple items for copying or moving to another vault open a category (or "All Items") and then pull down on the screen. _"
Looks like the select option is applicable only to those with multiple vaults.
    My bad! I apologize

@kevindh: No worries! I'm glad there's a simple explanation. Ben and I are both already out of hair, so I'm glad we can avoid further losses. ;)

    I did the same thing.

@jbjb: Thanks for letting me know! I think we'll consider this a feature request to allow bulk selection of items for purposes other than just copying/moving between vaults. Thanks for bringing this up! :)
