App kicks me out when entering Master Password.
I have the original 1Password App Version 3.7.2 Nov 2 2012 on my iPhone 5. When prompted for Master Password Required, I can type in the full password and when I press Done on the keyboard, the app kicks me out. Can you please help me with unlocking my account?

In addition to the original 1Password Version listed above, I also purchased 1Password 6, now Version 6.5.1 on 10/18/2014. 1Password 3 had more features than the new one, so I continued to use 1Password 3. As I said above I can't get locked information with iOS 10.2. I can get as far as the 4 digit pass code will allow, but if a Master Password is required, the app kicks me out.
As for version 6.5.1 that I haven't used since 2014, I have forgotten the entry Master Password. How can I recover that Master Password and how can I transfer all information from version 3 to version 6, including the locked items?

Hi @PCtennis,
Thanks for taking the time to write in.
To move forward you'd need to uninstall & reinstall 1Password 6 for iOS:

How to upgrade from 1Password 3 on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Any missing features are likely covered by the 1Password 6 for iOS Pro features, which are a separate purchase (1Password 6 for iOS itself is free):

I hope that helps. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.

Hi Ben,
Thanks for responding. I deleted 1Password 6 and re-installed. On the first page it says Welcome to 1Password, New to 1Password? Enter your email and start your free trial. Below it says: Have you used 1Password before?
1Password.com >
iCloud >
Dropbox >
WLAN Server >Create a standalone vault >
I do not see: “Use without an account” on the first screen.
When I tap 1Password.com the new screen says: Add Account

I used the alternate instructions on creating a backup in iTunes and then syncing via iCloud. The instructions were a little vague in some areas and I eventually figured it out.
1. I made sure I had my computer and iPhone on my home wireless network.
2. I opened 1Password 3 and tapped Settings>Database>Backup & Restore.
3. Once Backup Service Started, it lists two addresses. I chose the top http address and entered it in a Safari tab.
4. It shows 1Password touch Service and lists my iPhone. Under Backup is a file link. I clicked on the blue link and it was sent to my downloads under 1Password.
5. I then restarted my iPhone.
6. I plugged in my iPhone via USB to my MacBook Air.
7. I launched iTunes and tapped on the little iPhone icon.
8. I then clicked Apps under iPhone and to the right I scrolled down to File Sharing where I selected 1Password.
9. To the right it says 1Password Documents. It went to my download files and dragged the 1Password.1ptbackup file and dropped it in the 1Password Documents section of iTunes.
10. On my iPhone I launched 1Password 6 and created a vault and entered a new Master Password. Then I went to Settings>Advanced>Import Vault.
11. I Tapped the 1Password 3 Backup file.
12. I then tapped Import Now. It showed the file importing.
13. I had to take my dog out for a walk, when I came back, I re-opened 1Password 6 and the I found the data had been imported.
14. Success!Thanks Ben,
Doug
