Account not authorized error messages.

Had to replace my iPad due to service issue. Two of my three dropbox accounts containing I password accounts are returning, "acount not authorized" error messages. I have three dropbox accounts. When I attempt to authorize the two dropbox accounts, I am redirected to Safari open that dropbox account. When I attempt to authorize I password there nothing happens. When I get the error message and I password and attempt to authorize there, it defaults to the first dropbox account authorized and does not allow me to switch without taking me out to Safari to switch the account which as explained before does nothing in the application to effect the authorization.

Overtime I created three different I password account folders in each one. to keep things simple, I would be happy to merge the password accounts and two of the dropbox accounts to the one that is working. I have search the support site and cannot find instructions on how to do so. This would seem to be the simplest solution but I need help learning how I can merge the three dropbox I password folders into one. Thanks!

  • Hi @Johnny_Sweeney

Thanks for taking the time to write in.

We do not support accessing multiple Dropbox accounts from the same device (I don't believe Dropbox themselves support this either). As such unfortunately I do not have step by step instructions to accomplish what you're looking to do here.

Do you currently have any devices that are able to access all three vaults?

    Please let us know.

    Ben
