Chrome extension gives me a spinning wheel for 10-20 seconds after login

When I log in to the 1Password extension in Chrome (for Mac), I get a spinning wheel for 10-20 seconds before it allows me to select the password I'm trying to fill in.

This has been happening for months, and it seems to be getting worse.

1Password Version: 6.2.1
Extension Version: 4.6.2.90
OS Version: OS X 10.12.1

    I'm sorry you're having trouble using the 1Password extension in Chrome! We'll be happy to help you with this.

    It looks like you're using version 6.2.1 of 1Password, which is a bit older now. We've released several updates since then, and the latest version is currently 6.5.3, so you should install that to see if it solves the problem. If you're using the AgileBits Store version of 1Password for Mac, open the main 1Password app and go to 1Password > Check for Updates in the menubar. If you're using the Mac App Store version, open the Mac App Store and check the Updates section.

    Once you've installed the latest update, try the extension in Chrome again. Does it work better this time? Let us know how it goes, thanks! :)
