Need to restore data on iCloud to app on IPhone but I've forgotten the primary vault password.

1Password suddenly stopped asking for and gave no option for fingerprint unlocking instead asking for a master password I can't remember even setting up! I uninstalled then reinstalled the app, created an account and all works fine except I can't restore the vault stored on iCloud as I cannot remember the vault password! Please don't tell me all is lost...help please!

    Hi @rixydix,

    Sorry to hear about the trouble. Your 1Password data is encrypted with your Master Password and as such the only way to access it is to enter the correct Master Password so that it can be decrypted. Please see this guide for further troubleshooting:

    Change or recover your Master Password
