Switching Apple IDs, want to make double sure I save my vault.

My now ex-husband set up 1Password for me. I need to switch off of our shared Apple ID to my own new solo ID. I want to make sure I save my passwords before make the switch. What steps should I take?
I use 1Password on my iPhone and laptop. It appears that I don't have a 1Password account set up and I can't find my emergency kit. I was syncing on iCloud but I recently updated to sync to Dropbox as our iCloud account is also shared.

    Thanks for taking the time to write in.

    I'd definitely recommend making a backup of your data:

    1Password backups

    Also if you are switching to a new Apple ID and have the Pro features for iOS (and want to keep them) you'll either need to re-purchase them, or subscribe to a 1Password.com account.
